INNER EDEN are seasonal retreats woven through the Wheel of the Year and created for women seeking a sanctuary to connect to our own and the earth’s cycles. The Spring Edition embraces and honours the heart of Spring. This 3-day weekend immersion invites you to gather in sisterhood, surrendering fully into the season’s awakening and flourishing rhythm. With a focus on Rebirth, we will engage in renewal practices that deepen our connection to Spring, Creation, Mother Earth, ourselves, and each other. Each day unfolds with soulful, nurturing practices that honour the deepest parts of you, inviting you to reconnect with inner rising and the earth’s awakening energy. MANOUK DE BIJL – Mentor, Space Holder & Devoted Student of the Feminine
Manouk works as a Trauma-Informed Somatic Mentor, Space Holder, Ceremonialist, Women’s Facilitator, Community weaver, founder of SĀCRED REMEMBRANCE and Retreat Leader. She is a visionary in Women’s Empowerment and dedicated to guide and gather women in sacred spaces to invite deep heartfelt feminine remembrance, healing and transformation.
After being diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune dis-ease, she embarked on a transformative holistic healing journey, uncovering the intricate links between emotions, trauma, and physical health. Through somatic practices, natural therapies, and deep inner work, Manouk healed herself. This decade long holistic journey is the womb of all creation and the inspiration behind her deep-felt offerings.
Her approach creates a nurturing safe environment to help women release limiting beliefs, patterns and step into their raw authentic essence. It is her path to inspire, be of service and work as a portal to blossom beings to wholeness. She guides from head to heart — listening, remembering and feeling. Inviting you to explore your body’s innate intelligence, deepening self-love and empowerment that ripple into every aspect of life.

Located on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, near the Henschotermeer, you’ll find Grounded Roots — a magical place for connection, creation, retreat and transformation. The location is surrounded by lush greenery, making it an ideal spot to connect on a deeper level — with yourself, nature, and others offering a unique experience. Their detached house features an intimate studio for workshops, a small library, a cozy living and dining room, and a professionally equipped kitchen. The semi-circular sofas are a perfect spot to connect with each other. Grounded Roots highly values sustainability, offering you an interior that is mainly furnished with sustainable brands.

DIRKJE KOOKT
Daily organic, fresh, garden to table, plant based meals prepared with so much love and intention to nourish your body throughout the retreat. Dirkje’s mission is to nourish people with healthy, surprising and colourful food. She prepares plant-based or vegetarian meals that are sugar-free, seasonal, as organic as possible and always with a touch of Middle Eastern cuisine. She loves inspiring people and enjoy when dishes can emerge from a moment of creative explosion. She also works as a breath work facilitator and spends her days dancing whenever she can, investing in personal growth, and embracing life as a forever wild moon child.

INNER EDEN is part of our FOUNDATIONAL PATHWAY, meaning there are no requirements for this Retreat. Truly every woman is welcome — no matter your age, background and experience with mentioned practices & rituals. The level of the retreat will be adjusted to the experience of the women who are joining.

The retreat includes daily guided movement, rituals, and ceremonies, accommodation and workshop materials in a beautiful natural setting, nourishing meals, and facilitation by Manouk. It also offers time to rest, integrate, and connect with the surrounding landscape.

We aim to create an inclusive, supportive environment. If you have any concerns, please reach out before booking so we can discuss how to best support you.

No prior experience is necessary. The retreat is open to all women, whether you are new to these practices or have been exploring them for years. Everything will be guided with care and inclusivity.

We will send a full packing list upon registration, but essentials include comfortable clothing for movement, a journal, water bottle, and anything that supports your personal ritual practice.

Dirkje Kookt will be our amazing chef for this weekend. She will create daily fresh, nourishing, plant based wholesome meals that support your well-being. Dietary needs and preferences will be accommodated as best as possible — please let us know in advance.

To get to Grounded Roots, it is best to navigate to Laan van Laag Kanje 2. Just before the reception of Eurparcs you will see a gravel path on your left with a sign 'Grounded Roots'. After submitting the form, you’ll be guided to book a personal connection call to connect deeper and answer any questions you might have.
